Ditte Grube, aka Out Of The Woods is a Danish singer-songwriter who is gearing up for the release of her debut album Birds and Beast, and has done of the the songs from the album exclusively for us her at Backseat Mafia, shot in and around her garden in Aarhus.
She found music, or her music, while working as a forest worker in the East Jutland forests, cutting trees down by day and writing songs by night, Fusing elements of folk and jazz, she makes this sort of beautiful, emotive music that can pull you along in near euphoria, or reduce you to tears.
