Georgia, USA artist Terrell Hines releases the third single from his upcoming mixtape, Portal One, out August 7th, on Virgin Records/Capital Records. The reggae infused song “Wu Dirt,” is one of a number of visuals Hines is creating for the album, using a green screen and with strict adherence to quarantine protocols. The Berklee College of Music graduate has worked with a diverse group of artists, including Beck, and he takes inspiration from a wide range of fellow musicians, including Outkast, Four Tet, Joy Division, Migos and Kendrick Lamar.
In June, Hines released a video for “St. Mark Rd.,” another single, not to be confused with his EP of the same name, released in late 2019. In May, he dropped the song “Promise.” All three videos have stunning visuals and it’s hard to believe that they were shot using a green screen.
