South London-based emcee Ramz has shared a new song, “Underneath.” The BRIT Award-nominated artist describes the new single as his ode to black women. It is a stripped down performance, filmed in London, with the video directed by Kirx Diaz. According to the press release accompanying the track, Ramz says that the song is “also about striving to be comfortable in your own skin and being proud of your own skin, in its most natural form.” Ramz hopes that “this song helps empower anyone who is feeling uncomfortable in their own skin, for whatever reason, right now.”
Earlier this year, Ramz released the freestyle track, the fire-breathing “Bixton to Oxford Circus,” and his first official single release of 2020, the seductive “Belong To The Streets.” “Underneath” was produced by Capri, with additional production from 169. Check it!
