Countdown To Rebellion – Day43: Introducing The Human Error

This is like going back to 1976 and the first appearance of Eater, debuting in Manchester, with Buzzcocks supporting. Eater were probably the youngest band on the nascent punk scene back then, all being between 14 and 17. Fast forward 47 years and Eater are at Rebellion, so are Jo Jo And The Teeth (Andy Blade’s side project), and The Human Error, a 3-piece from the West Midlands will be playing too. Although presumably most of their rider will be strictly non-alcoholic, due to their tender years. The trio are, Joe Ree 23 (Vocals/Guitar), Joe Brown17 (Bass) & Adam Welsh (Drums), the latter who is only 15. They’ve already got an album out on Bandcamp. They also do a decent cover of Buzzcocks Fast Cars

Musically they’re coming from the first wave of punk, with no frills guitar, reminiscent in part of the Dead Kennedys and Buzzcocks, due in part to Joe Ree’s vocal delivery.

They will certainly surprise a lot of people who come across them for the first time, and they will make a lot of new fans. My advice to you boys? Bring plenty of merch with you!!!!

You can catch the boys on Sun 6th Aug 14:00 at the Rebellion Introducing Stage (RIS) in the Arena. One to watch for the future for sure.
